Pakistan have leveled the scores at tea on day two, thanks to the brilliant performance by Saud Shakeel who smashed a century to bring his team back into the game. England found themselves on the back foot after Shakeel stole the show, much to the delight of the home crowd.
The first two days of the test match have been filled with action as both teams battled hard to gain an upper hand. Pakistan started off strong and quickly capitalized on the momentum they gained on the first day.
Shakeel was on fire as he notched up a century with some impressive shots. His performance so far has been nothing short of exceptional and is definitely something that the English side would have to work on to tackle in the rest of the test.
England had thought they were in with a chance after their batsmen did reasonably well to put a decent total on the board. However, they soon found themselves facing the angry Pak batsmen who had no intention of slowing down any time soon.
Pakistan was looking to equalize, which is exactly what they did at tea on the second day. England now has a tough road ahead of them as they try to fight back and gain the lead in the remaining time.
As the test match progresses, the action seems to get more and more intense. Both teams are set to fight it out for that vital win. Stay tuned to find out what happens next!
