Evri, one of the UK's largest parcel distribution companies, has been named the worst delivery company in the country for the second year in a row. A staggering four in 10 customers have reported problems with the company's service, leaving many frustrated and dissatisfied.
This shocking revelation has sparked widespread concern among consumers, with many calling for the company to take immediate action to address the issues. The problems reported by customers range from delayed or lost parcels to poor communication and unhelpful customer service.
According to a recent survey, around one in two customers who used Evri's services reported experiencing a problem. This is a significant increase from the previous year, when around three in 10 customers reported issues. The survey also found that Evri's customer satisfaction ratings have dropped significantly, with many customers expressing disappointment and frustration with the company's performance.
The news has come as a blow to Evri, which has faced intense scrutiny in recent years over its delivery practices. The company has been accused of prioritizing speed over reliability, with many drivers reportedly being given unrealistic delivery targets that leave them little time to accurately scan and deliver parcels.
Evri has promised to take steps to address the issues raised by customers, including investing in new technology and hiring more staff to improve its delivery services. However, for many customers, this may be too little, too late. With the holiday season just around the corner, many are turning to other delivery companies in the hopes of avoiding the problems that have plagued Evri's customers.
"We are committed to providing our customers with the best possible service," an Evri spokesperson said. "We take all feedback seriously and are working hard to address the issues that have been raised. We apologize to any customers who have experienced problems with our service and hope that they will give us the chance to show them what we can do."
Despite Evri's promises, many customers remain skeptical. With competition in the delivery market fiercer than ever, Evri will need to work hard to regain the trust of its customers and improve its services if it is to remain a major player in the industry.
