With this being my 50th birthday year, I finally thought I'd take the leap!' So, it looks like Bake Off might just be Mike's ultimate birthday party.

We asked Mike what motivated him to pursue a career in baking. 'My grandmother, who made the best apple cake I've ever tasted,' Mike fondly mentioned. 'She always shared this unconditional love, especially through food, so she got me into baking.' It's heartwarming to see that Mike is motivated by love, much like the Bake Off family is.

And if he could bake anything for his co-contestants to enjoy? Mike enthusiastically declared, 'I'd whip up a fabulous double-layered decadent chocolate cake adorned with edible gold paint!'
