The midweek action saw several Ipswich Town players take to the pitch for their respective loan clubs, with one of them making headlines after scoring his first goal and getting a new manager.
One player who had a notable impact was Armando Dobra, but we will be focusing on another individual in this report. Despite Dobra getting his team a win with an assist, it was a fellow Blues player who stole the spotlight in yet another part of the region.
Let's first start with the aforementioned big story in this region - a Blues player scoring his first goal for his loan club. In a shocking turn of events, one Ipswich loanee had the perfect evening, as he scored the goal helping his team to an all-important win. But that wasn't all - in the same evening, the young player also got to hear the news that his loan club would be having a new manager at the helm.
This young Ipswich Town talent, is currently spending time on loan away from Portman Road in an attempt to get more minutes under his belt and hopefully bring back valuable experience to the Suffolk outfit when he returns.
With this goal, the youngster has shown the manager of Ipswich Town, that he isn't short of talent when it comes to finding the back of the net. Though things haven't quite gone as planned for his parent club in his absence, there's definitely reason for optimism - the ability to blood talented youngsters is what the management are about, as it leads to homegrown talent moving up the ranks and eventually playing for the Blue Army.
Going forward, the Tractor Boys would be keeping a close eye on the lad to see how things shape up for him in this temporary move away. With that said, the decision to provide a much-needed change in environment seems to be yielding results which are positive - an early indication that this loanee will eventually return to Ipswich a better player.
Looking ahead, this new partnership will give the young player ample opportunities to carve a niche for himself, before possibly taking the big step back into his parent club Ipswich Town when the transition from loanee to first team player is eventually made.
Meanwhile, another player on the other hand has not been making as many waves with his loan move, with many fans of the parent club beginning to wonder if the move will benefit the individual player as much as it should have when the deal was agreed.
Overall, all parties involved seem to be monitoring the situation closely, keeping an eye on how the youngster adapts to the new setting, as that will be key to the ultimate decision on how proceedings on his loan move will be evaluated.
Elevating his status to be closer to the likes of the starting Eleven, just as other talented players, including some former Ipswich Town academy product would most definitely lead to an eye catching win.
