No. 16 Cincinnati had a successful game on Wednesday as they faced off against the visiting Alabama State team, resulting in a 77-59 win for the home side.
Cincinnati was supported by an impressive performance from four of their players who racked up double-figure scores. Simas Lukosius was one of the leaders, hitting four 3-pointers to finish the game with 16 points, as well as providing four assists in the process.
Notable performances were not limited to Lukosius as the remainder of the players with ten points plus, all made their mark on the scoreboard.
The Bearcats were particularly dominant in the first half as they enjoyed not one but two 10-point runs that did a substantial amount of damage to the fighting spirit of Alabama State.
Alabama State struggled at various points throughout the first half but there were moments that seemed to swing in favor of the road team who also had notable strengths shown throughout the match.
Going down by 18 in the first half this was too much for Alabama to mount a comeback and seemed that all hope was lost as early on the first half.
Cincinnati managed to not only sustain a good momentum throughout the match but were able to also contain their rival offense, their attack remaining sharp as their movements remained disciplined.
