VOLUNTEERS from all walks of life gathered on Thursday to kick off the highly anticipated Paint It Black Blitz campaign, an event that brought the community together in support of a good cause. The event, which saw volunteers collect donations for United Way
's 2024 campaign, also served as a platform to garner support for Missouri Western State University
's fall athletics.
The volunteers, clad in their Paint It Black Blitz gear, hit the streets with enthusiasm and determination, spreading awareness about the importance of giving back to the community. As they made their way through the streets, they were greeted with welcoming smiles and open arms by the locals, who were more than happy to contribute to the noble cause.

Missouri Western State University
's fall athletics also benefited from the event, with volunteers promoting the upcoming games and encouraging people to come out and show their support for the university teams.
The event was a testament to the power of community spirit, and it demonstrated that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a big difference in the lives of others.
