A sleek-looking star vehicle for George Clooney and Brad Pitt, Wolfs (now streaming on Apple TV+) kicks off when two nameless “cleaners” — those discreet fixers dispatched to make crime scenes disappear — find themselves on the opposite side of the law.

The director, the Academy Award-winning Jon Watts, has been busy lately with movie franchise Marvel what with Spiderman across the Spider Verse releasing in 2022 and the most recent one across the Spider Verse (2023) and going off to direct with Captain America in the new universe.

Now Watts is back at what seems to be where he originally had his claim to fame working on outside superhero material such as working back with Ryan Gosling off of his breakout show in comedy on Young Hercules back with 1998/99 filming movie (2006) First Snow then the dynamic of working on and film Eli (2010)

The thing most people are going to be focusing on is on an obvious level. The team-up movie we have all been wanting since the Ocean’s (2007) series and prior even their on-screen beginning on Ocean’s (2001) Eleven during filming and while we still went through what has aged well during the same ages with several younger audience now years later starting to remember their parts on Ocean's Eleven that brought their youngish personas as it seems now so who are now mature and much more developed.

As “fixers” that do whatever they can to clean up crime scenes and essentially cover the footprints of their specific clients giving them another get out free ticket with what the clients were trying to do if they either intentionally or unintentionally have killed during for whatever reasons occurred that brought them to the decision to either hire them for the act and/or post crime cleanup and protection against someone framing or figuring out they were part of the crime at hand, the team in this movie are the same to seem “in our age or aging since we first started to see them’ this seems intentional to grab a not only wider but maybe even different audience which may go to this movie to check out what happens for their now “aging side”.

Therefore, some of the movie’s action is just an alibi for to those (re)unite fan service during a simple drive-by at house a chance meeting at simple conversation rechecking back in to see how people may have let their “bad side” from their respective ages when they are now viewed in a completely different and different but not better as this is something in order for the stars to even have a chance for success in acting Hollywood industry.

However, at its most effective, the film lets both of its male leads develop and take full advantage of getting older from an actor’s point of view and it will grab their many fans with the best way of using both action and drama with and off with scenes that it did their careers initially in their past and have their audience want to be in a seat cheering them on.
