DEADLINE DAY DRAMA: Arsenal and Rivals in Desperate Striker Hunt

With the January transfer window drawing to a close, several Premier League clubs are scrambling to secure the services of a top-class striker to bolster their attacking options.

Arsenal are among the teams leading the charge, with manager Mikel Arteta keen to bring in a new forward to provide competition for current first-choice striker Gabriel Jesus.

The Gunners have been linked with a number of high-profile targets, including Shakhtar Donetsk's Mykhailo Mudryk and Villarreal's Gerard Moreno, and are expected to make a significant push to get a deal over the line before the deadline.

However, they are not the only club in the market for a new striker, with Aston Villa, Manchester United, and West Ham also rumored to be on the hunt for a new attacking talent.

Villa boss Unai Emery is believed to be targeting a physical, hold-up striker to complement the pace and agility of current attacking duo Ollie Watkins and Leon Bailey, with the likes of Blackburn's Ben Brereton Diaz and Swansea's Joel Piroe reportedly on the club's radar.

Manchester United, meanwhile, are thought to be prioritizing a move for a top-class center-forward, with manager Erik ten Hag keen to provide support for current first-choice striker Marcus Rashford.

The Red Devils have been linked with a number of high-profile targets, including Atletico Madrid's Joao Felix and Tottenham's Harry Kane, although any deal for the latter would likely be complicated by the fact that he is a key player for a rival club.

West Ham, who have struggled for goals this season, are also in the market for a new striker, with manager David Moyes believed to be targeting a physical, experienced forward to provide a different option to current attacking duo Michail Antonio and Gianluca Scamacca.

As the clock ticks down to the deadline, all four clubs will be working tirelessly to get their business done and secure the services of their top targets, with the outcome likely to have a significant impact on the rest of the season.
