Every year, families gather at New Orleans' City Park to experience one of the city's most magical events: Celebration in the Oaks. Recently on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2024, excited park-goers had the opportunity to see the breathtaking drive-thru lights display during the annual spectacle.

Held within the luscious surroundings of City Park, Celebration in the Oaks, consists of millions of twinkling lights in magnificent displays. With over two-dozen magnificent oak trees showcasing enchanting lights that form magical shapes and images, this festival is perfect for families and anyone with a love for magical festivities and events.

City Park's annual Celebration in the Oaks festival transformed into a spectacular winter wonderland with approximately 140 sites consisting of trees and other displays featuring hundreds of thousands of vibrant lights to create the magical atmosphere.

This year's Celebration in the Oaks displayed an array of enchanting items such as fun illuminated characters found in New Orleans parks. One memorable attraction was the majestic Mr. Bingle illuminated tree as well as decorated amusement park rides which gave off the magical atmosphere that characterized Celebration in the Oaks.

While most venues were presenting daytime activities for their events, City Park set the night ablaze as twinkling festive lights took over the premises, giving Celebration in the Oaks an experience of a lifetime as seen from the photographs that highlighted a fun time had by all.
