The game was intense from the start, with both teams displaying remarkable skill and determination. The 67's were looking to defend their home turf, while the Generals were determined to take the win on the road.

The first period saw both teams creating scoring opportunities, but it was the Generals who managed to capitalize first. The 67's, however, were quick to respond, tying the game before the end of the period.

The second period was just as intense, with both teams trading chances. The Generals managed to take the lead once more, but the 67's were relentless in their pursuit of equality, eventually tying the game at 2-2.

As the third period got underway, it became clear that this was anyone's game. Both teams were creating scoring opportunities, but the defenses were holding strong. It seemed as though the game was destined for overtime, with neither team able to break the deadlock.

That was until Andrew Gibson stepped up to the plate. With just 48 seconds left on the clock, Gibson scored the goal that would win the game for the Generals, lifting his team to a 3-2 victory over the 67's.
