While we do not know very much about the newest devices just yet, it is very clear that the new Chromebooks are going to be the first of a new wave of innovative and exciting devices. Google and its partners are continually striving to push the boundaries of what a Chromebook can provide and at what price point too. Building on the back of Lenovo's Duet 2-in-1, Duet 3 and Duet 5 Chromebooks - the new Lenovo Chromebook Duet 11" promises to bring even more incredible value to those looking to own the ultimate in mobile productivity.
As with previous models in the range, this version is powered by ChromeOS. Giving users access to an incredible world of Google apps and services - all wrapped up in an intuitive and user-friendly interface and underpinned by best of breed security. Which - along with frequent updates - goes a long way in delivering users peace of mind. This goes alongside Google Drive online storage and much, much more. Just like all of the previously released Chromebooks too, integration with other devices from the Google ecosystem should be easy and seamless - the 'Hey Google' always-listening assistant available at all times - is a prime example of just what should be possible.
While specific release dates are yet to be confirmed by a press event due to take place later today - pricing has been set. Which puts the Samsung device ahead of Lenovo’s in terms of sheer cost alone. We are told the Lenovo is likely to cost $299. A tempting price which should see early adopters take to this one in BIG numbers. We are also excited to see the pricing for the Samsung version - coming in at $699. The amount of freedom to roam with this smaller Chromebook device - alongside full compatibility with USI styluses, should see the amount of interest from content creators significantly higher - watch this space for comprehensive overviews on every new device launching soon.
