Jimmy Kimmel recently called out Republicans for their apparent hypocrisy when it comes to certain issues. The late-night host pointed out that the GOP, which has historically been very vocal about certain topics, no longer seems too worried about them. A recent supercut put together by Kimmel's team aimed to expose the double standards that have become increasingly apparent within the Republican party. While it remains unclear what sparked Kimmel's latest tirade against the GOP, it appears that he is fed up with their perceived flip-flopping. The new supercut began by highlighting various instances of prominent Republicans weighing in on topics like spending and the national debt, not to mention the economy. In each instance, it becomes clear that something peculiar is going on - mainly that they seem to be uttering statements completely contradictory to what they have claimed in the past. This glaring inconsistency did not escape Kimmel's attention. One can only assume that his ultimate goal was to bring light to a rather sensitive issue, but his decision to pursue it, bringing up instances where high profile Republicans voiced the exact opposite opinions they hold now, is bound to be understood by many of his viewers, but simultaneously provoke fervent rejection from Trump supporters and their ilk. On
his nightly show, the clips exhibited by Kimmel created for vivid depiction of current members of Congress who blasted additional expenses under a former president while actively applauding them under the current leader. Were 'these Republicans playing with fire when they went so aggressively on these expenditures, just for them to sing on a totally different note now,' Kimmel rhetorically questioned in the show as the montage proceeds. A rather large number of ardent viewers who constantly respond to this TV show's segments have for some time been irked beyond consolation by the way certain Trump related matters were given a free pass, while any unorthodox item about one of the other groups gets lambasted. Through an apparent, overarching analysis, it might not be too far-fetched to categorize these individuals as sore and dishonest, which it appears Kimmel makes it his task to at the very least bring awareness about, based on his selection of a substantial quotient of such examples about people acting hypocritically and on the role which this performs within the framework of national politics and international perceptions on the American scenario. A great example of this came when Senator Ted Cruz emerged on camera offering one review over expenses several years ago when in comparison he could be shown backing exactly the similar deals the President inked into law and those expenditures he spoke against while slamming them but again are there moments and situations where any of these people would be found taking differing views about and act differently.
