Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley, two stars of the hit reality TV show, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, have been friends for years. During an appearance at Brave Fan Fest in Miami, Richards opened up about the current state of their relationship and revealed why she has distanced herself from Kemsley.

According to Richards, their friendship began to fray after a series of misunderstandings and miscommunications. While Richards did not go into specifics about the nature of their disagreements, she did express her disappointment and sadness over the breakdown of their relationship.

"I think that when you're friends with someone, you expect a certain level of loyalty and support," Richards explained. "Unfortunately, I didn't feel like I was getting that from Dorit, and that was hurtful for me."

Richards also acknowledged that their friendship was put under a microscope due to the pressures of filming a reality TV show. She noted that the constant scrutiny and stress of being in the public eye took a toll on their relationship.

"When you're on a reality TV show, everything is magnified," Richards said. "The drama, the tension, the conflicts – it's all amplified. And sometimes, that can be really hard to deal with, especially when it comes to your friendships."

Despite their current rift, Richards expressed hope that she and Kemsley could eventually repair their friendship. However, she also emphasized the importance of taking care of herself and prioritizing her own well-being.

"At the end of the day, I need to do what's best for me," Richards stated. "If that means taking a step back from my friendship with Dorit, then that's what I'll do. But I do hope that we can work through our issues and come out stronger on the other side."
