Liam Lawson has opened up about the immense pressure he faced during his six-round return to Formula 1 last year, and how it led him to make some daring moves that drew the ire of his fellow drivers.
Speaking in a recent interview, Lawson revealed that his eagerness to impress the Red Bull team and secure a potential future with them led him to drive more aggressively than he might have otherwise.
Lawson stated that he was aware his actions might have ruffled a few feathers, but he felt it was necessary to take risks and push the limits in order to catch the attention of the Red Bull hierarchy.
While his approach may not have won him many friends among the paddock, Lawson believes it was a vital learning experience that will ultimately benefit him in the long run.
Despite the controversy surrounding some of his moves, Lawson remains proud of the progress he made during his time back in Formula 1, and is grateful for the opportunity to have competed at the highest level.
As for his future plans, Lawson remains tight-lipped, but it is clear that he is hungry for another chance to prove himself in the sport he loves.
Only time will tell if Lawson will get the chance to drive for Red Bull, but one thing is certain - he will stop at nothing to achieve his goals and make a lasting impression on the Formula 1 community.
