'Man Utd Flop BETTER OFF LEAVING!' - Brutal Verdict on Struggling Stars' Future Under New Boss

December 14, 2024

Samuel Luckhurst has not held back in his scathing assessment of Manchester United forward Joshua Zirkzee, claiming the Dutch striker’s ‘race is already run’ at Old Trafford. The Red Devils recruited Zirkzee from Bayern Munich in the summer, hoping he would bolster their attacking options. However, the Netherlands international has failed to make a significant impact in the Premier League.

Luckhurst believes Zirkzee is ‘out of his depth’ and ‘not good enough’ to make a difference for Manchester United. The 22-year-old forward has netted just two goals in over 10 appearances for the club. The statistics do not paint a pretty picture for Zirkzee, who has found it challenging to break into the starting lineup under manager Erik ten Hag.

However, the appointment of new manager Amorim might have sealed Zirkzee’s fate. Luckhurst claims that if Zirkzee couldn’t impress with the current crop of players, he stands no chance under the new manager. The football pundit believes that the Dutch striker would be ‘better off leaving’ Manchester United in search of greener pastures where he can play more regularly and showcase his talent.

Zirkzee moved to Manchester United with high expectations and hopes of solidifying his position in the starting lineup. Nevertheless, things have not gone according to plan for the young striker. Luckhurst’s words might be harsh but not entirely unfounded. With Amorim arriving at the helm of the club, it is uncertain what the future holds for Zirkzee. As it stands, the young striker appears to be edging closer to the door.

Amorim’s arrival presents a fresh start for the Manchester United squad, and the players know they must impress their new manager to secure a spot in the starting lineup. If Zirkzee fails to win over Amorim’s approval, he might be better off finding a new club where his playing time and contribution to the team would be more valued.

Manchester United face a tough road ahead, and Amorim must make tough decisions regarding the fate of some players. The new manager must decide who will feature in the starting lineup and who will be relegated to the bench. Zirkzee will be keenly watching the upcoming developments and hoping that he does enough to change Luckhurst’s perception and secure his future at the club.
