Manchester United Star Set to Make Shock Exit as Solskjaer Eyed Replacement

January 21, 2025

Manchester United are reportedly working on a loan deal for Tyrell Malacia to leave the club, with the left-back having fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford. Despite returning from injury, Malacia has been unable to break into Erik ten Hag's first team, and it is understood that the Dutchman is now open to letting him leave on a temporary basis.

The news may come as a surprise to some Manchester United fans, who had high hopes for Malacia when he first joined the club. However, with the emergence of other talented young players, it appears that the left-back is no longer part of ten Hag's plans. By allowing Malacia to leave on loan, Manchester United will be able to free up space in their squad and potentially bring in a new signing.

One player who has been linked with a move to Manchester United is Patrick Dorgu, a highly-rated young defender who has been impressing for his current club. While a deal for Dorgu is still in the early stages, it is believed that Manchester United are keen to bring him to Old Trafford and are willing to use the money saved from Malacia's loan deal to help fund the transfer.

Malacia's departure would not be a major surprise, given his lack of playing time this season. The left-back has struggled to adapt to life in the Premier League, and with other players ahead of him in the pecking order, it is likely that he will be allowed to leave. A loan deal would be the most likely option, as it would allow Manchester United to retain control over Malacia's future while also giving him the opportunity to gain some much-needed playing experience.

As for Dorgu, he is a player who has been catching the eye of several top clubs in recent months. The young defender has been impressing with his current club, and it is believed that he has the potential to become a top-class player in the future. If Manchester United are able to bring him to Old Trafford, it could be a major coup for the club and a significant boost to their chances of success in the coming seasons.
