Finishing in sixth place at the Class 2A State Championships, her unparalleled perseverance paid off as she climbed from eighth to sixth from the previous year. The most impressive thing about Cate Griggs is her magnificent efforts to excel in her field.

Anacortes High School witnessed an exemplar in Cate Griggs, who showed sheer determination and skills beyond the borders, going up two places higher in this year′s state championships. At a time when her previous standing was 8th, Griggs vowed to hone her skills every step of the way and every possible breath in order to make herself stay on top.
