Mind-Blowing New Addition Coming to Patterson Farms That's Changing The Community For Good

CHINA GROVE — Smart Start Rowan, in collaboration with Jimmy Greene Jr. and Patterson Farms, has taken a significant step towards improving the lives of the community’s children. The trio is proud to announce the establishment of the county’s newest Little Free Library at Patterson Farms. The story behind the construction of this Little Free Library started at the 9th annual Smart Start Rowan’s Dr. Shirley P. Mitchell’s Excellence in Early Childhood Education awards ceremony.

This ceremony took place, highlighting key figures in the rown county that have made significant contributions to early childhood education. Smart Start Rowan saw an opportunity to collaborate with Patterson Farms and create a valuable resource for the community. In setting up this library, it has not only helped in emphasizing the importance of reading among local children, but it also symbolizes the ability of great results produced when working together.

This initiative was nothing short of fantastic as it also allowed people to come forward and donate books, getting the new library packed with a diverse variety of reading material for kids. All books that were collected range across numerous genres and languages in providing a comprehensive learning resource for the children.
