MIND-BLOWING TWIST! Miami (OH) Stuns Northern Illinois with LAST-MINUTE Trickery

In a game that will be remembered for seasons to come, Miami (OH) has stunned the Northern Illinois Huskies 20-9, thanks in large part to a brilliant trick play that left the opposition reeling. The play in question was a 30-yard touchdown pass, thrown not by the RedHawks quarterback, but rather by Javon Tracy, who had a remarkable day as both a wide receiver and an impromptu signal caller.

Tracy finished the game with an impressive 79 yards receiving on six catches, but it was his arm that proved to be the difference maker in the game. With the RedHawks looking to create some separation on the scoreboard, Tracy’s number was called upon once again, this time to throw the pass that would lead to his team taking a commanding lead. And what an impact he made. Throwing a beautifully arced 30-yard pass to Reggie Virgil, Tracy left the Northern Illinois defense looking bewildered and helpless as the ball sailed into the waiting arms of Virgil.

Virgil himself had an outstanding game as the main beneficiary of Tracy’s trickery. Finishing with four receptions for 107 yards, Virgil’s big plays were instrumental in the Miami (OH) win. The RedHawks will now look to carry this momentum into their next game, having established themselves as serious title contenders in the Mid-American Conference.
