NBA Player Endures Insulting Cop Confrontation That Will Leave You Absolutely Furious!

Former Bucks guard, Sterling Brown, once had a highly unfortunate encounter with the Milwaukee Police Department, an event that was captured on police bodycam footage in January 2018.

The harrowing experience began when Brown, who was then 22 years old and had been with the Milwaukee Bucks for about 6 months, had parked in a disabled parking spot at a Walgreens store near his home. Brown claimed he had parked in the space temporarily as he was just popping in to grab a few things. However, it didn't sit well with the waiting police, as he took a little longer than they wanted him to exit his vehicle and show them his ID.

Three police vehicles were immediately drawn to the scene. At that point, Brown found himself completely surrounded by authorities as they unexpectedly swooped in and initiated an unpleasant confrontation that ultimately led to him getting tased and hospitalized.

Police claim Brown became 'aggressive', however; when the body camera footage of the incident first surfaced, many felt this narrative fell short and didn't paint an entirely honest picture. From another perspective, it seems that Brown acted calmly in addressing the situation as he slowly presented the officers with his ID when prompted.

Moreover, despite being much larger in number and better armed, Milwaukee police also resorted to kneeing the former Bucks guard in his neck in order to subdue him. The experience that night left Brown severely shaken and injured, both physically and emotionally. Thankfully, Brown received medical treatment promptly after being rushed to the hospital and released a day later.

The highly charged incident has triggered numerous questions about police accountability, specifically the legitimacy and consistency of Milwaukee PD’s law enforcement techniques. Also being drawn into sharp relief by this incident are deeply disturbing sub-texts of racism, which allegedly featured prominently in many elements of interaction with the Milwaukee Police.
