It seems this year Nicole has gone all out in making sure her home is the talk of the town as everyone gears up for the festive season. However, it appears some of her neighbours might not share the same enthusiasm about her decorations.

Speaking with the host of the show, Kidman jokingly shared that she has been getting a lot of flak from her neighbours about her house being overly decorated. She even recalled one of them expressing it directly to her.

Nicole said she was spotted by one of her neighbours getting out of her car, and instead of the usual exchange of pleasantries, her neighbour decided to take a more direct approach.

"As I was getting out of the car, one of my neighbours came up to me and said, "Nicole, I don't know if I need to be a good neighbour but I just need to tell you that your house is, it's just a bit, it's a bit much." I knew exactly what she was talking about," Nicole exclaimed.

Despite the backlash from her neighbours, the Moulin Rouge! star remains undeterred and insists on making her house the perfect canvas to get into the festive spirit. In fact, she has taken to decorating almost every area of her property.

"It's not just the house, I've got the driveway, the street, the park across the road, it's just all lit up. And I've also got a big Christmas tree in my backyard that's like, 30 feet tall," she said.

Nicole added that she knows a lot of people may not share the same love and enthusiasm for Christmas decorations, but she hopes her neighbours can understand that it's the most wonderful time of the year for her.

"I know some people might find it a bit too much, but I hope my neighbours can see the joy in it and understand that for me, this time of year is special and I want to celebrate it," she concluded.
