OILERS FORDOWN: Vasily Podkolzin DESTROYS Jeremy Lauzon in Insane One-Punch Fight

Watch as Edmonton Oilers forward Vasily Podkolzin shows off some incredible mitts, dropping the gloves with Nashville Predators defenceman Jeremy Lauzon and blasting him with three huge punches to end the fight quickly.

The incident happened during a heated moment in the game between the Edmonton Oilers and the Nashville Predators.

It all started when Podkolzin and Lauzon got tangled up along the boards, with the tension between them escalating quickly as they exchanged words.

Before long, both players dropped their gloves and helmets, and the fight was on.

Lauzon, known for his toughness on the ice, came out swinging, but Podkolzin was ready for him.

The Oilers' forward dodged Lauzon's initial punch and countered with a massive right hand of his own, sending Lauzon stumbling backward.

That was just the beginning, as Podkolzin followed up with two more quick jabs that left Lauzon dazed and reeling.

The Predators' defenceman tried to fire back with another punch, but Podkolzin was too quick, dodging the blow and landing another huge right hand that sent Lauzon crashing to the ice.

The whole thing was over in a matter of seconds, with the referees jumping in to intervene and separate the two players.

As the dust settled, Podkolzin was seen skating away with a confident grin on his face, while Lauzon slowly got to his feet, rubbing his sore jaw.

The Oilers' bench was electric, with Podkolzin's teammates cheering and high-fiving him as he made his way back to the bench.

For Podkolzin, the fight was just another example of his toughness and competitiveness on the ice.

"I just tried to stick up for myself and my teammates," he said in a post-game interview.

"I know Jeremy's a tough guy, but I wasn't backing down from him."
