OMG SNL Is Back And This 73-Year-Old Emmy Winner Is Hosting For The First Time Ever

September 28, 2024

Saturday Night Live is about to begin its 50th season and we couldn’t be more excited. The upcoming season promises to be filled with laughter, exciting performances, and some very special guests. To kick it all off Jean Smart will be hosting for the very first time in her over 40-year career. Despite being a veteran in the entertainment industry she has never hosted the sketch comedy institution before.

Jean Smart is no stranger to success. The 73-year-old star has just won her sixth Emmy for her outstanding performances. Her impressive career spans decades with notable roles in popular TV shows like Hacks and Designing Women. Her contribution to the entertainment industry has not gone unnoticed and we can’t wait to see her bring her wit and charm to the stage of SNL.

She will be joined by Jelly Roll who will be performing at the show. Jelly Roll is a singer-songwriter known for his raw talent and unique voice. His music often explores themes of love, life, and hardship, which has resonated with fans all over the country.

On a separate note, there’s also a possibility of Maya Rudolph reprising her role as Kamala Harris. Maya’s portrayal of the vice-president has been hilarious and has become one of the show’s most memorable moments. While nothing has been confirmed just yet, we have our fingers crossed that she will be back to bring the laughs once again.

The 50th season of SNL is expected to be a big celebration of the show’s legacy and its impact on the entertainment industry. With a lineup of talented performers, hilarious sketches, and wonderful hosts, we can’t wait to see what the new season has in store for us. So mark your calendars and get ready to join in on the fun!
