Panther's Bizarre Premiership Celebration Aftermath Revealed!

Panthers forward Scott Sorensen is hoping for a more subdued celebration if his team secures another NRL premiership, after a frantic search for his wife's lost keys during the 2023 NRL Grand Final celebrations.

Sorensen revealed in an interview that the immediate aftermath of the Panthers' Grand Final victory was chaotic, as he found himself turning Accor Stadium upside down in a bid to locate his wife's misplaced car keys.

According to Sorensen, the usual excitement and euphoria of winning the premiership took a backseat as he frantically scoured every inch of the stadium to find the missing keys.

'I remember standing on the field, holding the trophy and thinking 'this is amazing' but then my wife comes up to me and says she's lost her keys,' Sorensen said.

'I'm thinking 'great, now we can't even get out of here', Sorensen quipped, adding that 'it was a really weird feeling'.

Sorensen and his wife eventually managed to find the keys after a lengthy search, but not before enduring a series of awkward and humorous moments in front of the thousands of screaming fans still packed into the stadium.

This season, Sorensen is hoping for a more trouble-free celebration if the Panthers secure another NRL premiership.

'Hopefully we can just enjoy the moment and not have to worry about anything like that again,' Sorensen said.
