ViacomCBS′ subsidiary Paramount has struck gold with its latest move to bring the cult classic, The Big Bang Theory, to its lineup of television networks, Nick at Nite and MTV.

The Big Bang Theory is all set to air on Nick at Nite on December 24, starting with a special holiday-themed marathon, while MTV will kick off its broadcast with a massive, 24-hour, all-day marathon on January 1.

This Emmy Award-winning comedy series has already become a broadcasting sensation during its hit run on CBS. With over 280 episodes aired in the period between 2007 and 2019, the show′s addition to Paramount′s networks is anticipated to attract colossal audiences. Although, prior fans will still get an opportunity to catch their favorite episodes on streaming platforms, both Nick at Nite and MTV will expose Sheldon, Howard, Raj, and Penny to fresh faces.

The Big Bang Theory centers around a socially-awkward group of talented scientists and their neighbor, Penny, who strives to fit in but ultimately captures their hearts with a much needed female presence in their eccentric lives.
