Predators Pull Off Insane Comeback to Take Down Sharks in Jaw-Dropping 7-5 Victory

Nick Blankenburg scored the eventual game-winner as the Nashville Predators erased a four-goal deficit to defeat the visiting San Jose Sharks 7-5 on Tuesday night.

The Predators were down 5-1 in the second period but managed to score six unanswered goals to secure the stunning comeback win.

Blankenburg's goal came at 10:12 of the third period and put the Predators ahead 6-5.

The Sharks had taken an early 2-0 lead in the first period and increased their advantage to 5-1 in the second before the Predators began their impressive rally.

Nashville outshot San Jose 14-7 in the second period and 12-5 in the third to finish with a 41-29 edge in shots on goal.

The comeback victory marks one of the most memorable moments in the Predators' season so far, with Blankenburg emerging as the hero of the night.

The win moves the Predators up in the standings and gives them momentum heading into their next game, while the Sharks will look to bounce back from the tough loss.
