Rachael Ray, the beloved TV cook and personality, has recently opened up about her life behind closed doors. The famous chef, known for her warm smile and infectious laugh, revealed that things aren't always as they seem.
In a shocking interview, Ray discussed the marriage drama that has been affecting her life and what she does to calm down when emotions get the better of her. Marriage, like many beautiful things in life, is a journey not without its own set of challenges and Ray's situation is no exception.
Ray who has been married to her husband, John Cusimano for a while now stated that like many couples, they too, have disagreements and conflicts but they manage to find a way through difficult times. However, things escalated to the point of Ray admitting that she had gotten 'really angry' at her other half in the heat of the moment.
'We have had some pretty epic fights over the years', she said frankly, as she continued to elaborate on the couples' challenging situation. Dealing with 'intense' anger is something everyone encounters at some point in their lives and figuring out ways to manage these feelings can be challenging. For Ray, like many individuals who struggle with this, she found peace and solace in unconventional places.
The famous chef went on to discuss what calms her down when her emotions overwhelmed her. Rather surprisingly for someone who's entire persona is that of sunshine and rainbows, Ray revealed that her go-to stress relievers are more rock and roll.
During her lighter moments, Ray turned to the calming power of music, stating that thrashing out to AC/DC and Guns N' Roses at the top of her lungs helped release tension and alleviated stress in those most difficult moments. Her husband Cusimano, she elaborated, had even picked up the calming habits from Ray herself - stating that these times together although heated when starting off often provided great stress relief from anxiety.
The biggest takeaway from Ray's emotional admissions is that taking time to look after one's self - mentally - is so utterly crucial to survival, especially when the world seems to be falling apart around you.
