RED CARD SHAME: Kudus' Sudden Snap Sparks Fury - What's Next for the Tempting Talent?

Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Julen Lopetegui is set to have a stern talk with Mohammed Kudus, following the midfielder's shocking red card in the 86th minute of their 4-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.

The Ghana international completely lost his cool, striking both Micky van de Ven and Pape Sarr in the face. The double flashpoint infuriated the Spurs players, who were quick to condemn the actions of Kudus.

While Kudus was initially booked for his confrontation with Van de Ven, things took a turn for the worse when he targeted Sarr in the immediate aftermath. Referee Craig Pawson was left with no choice but to produce a second yellow, swiftly followed by a red card, reducing Wanderers to 10 men for the remaining minutes of the match.

Lopetegui was left visibly frustrated by the entire sequence of events and appeared to have a stern conversation with his player as he walked off the pitch. In the post-match interview, the Wolves manager hinted that Kudus would face disciplinary action for his misdemeanor.

"I don't think I have to explain what happened because everyone saw the images. The referee gave him two yellow cards. Kudus will have to be more focused on the game and manage his emotions. He's a very talented player, but this is the aspect where we have to work," said Lopetegui.

The former Nantes man has already clocked up 10 appearances for Wolves since joining in the summer transfer window. Lopetegui is keen to help Kudus work through his problematic discipline, and with Wolves languishing at 15th in the Premier League table, they can ill afford to lose another crucial player.

This coming week, Lopetegui will reportedly be holding one-on-one discussions with Kudus, in a bid to coach him on managing his emotions in critical situations. Wolves fans will be hoping that their exciting signing can strike the perfect balance on the pitch and realize his full potential.
