Richard Hatch Speaks Out: What REALLY Went Down on Survivor

Richard Hatch, the star of the new reality show ‘House of Villains’, is speaking out about his past appearance on the hit E! show ‘Survivor’ and he’s not holding back.

During his time on the show, Hatch was often portrayed as a villain, but he insists that he was misunderstood and that the show’s editors had a big hand in making him look bad.

“I think the editors did a great job of manipulating the storyline and making me look like the bad guy,” Hatch said in an interview. “But the truth is, I was just playing the game and doing what I had to do to win.”

Hatch also went on to say that he was surprised by how much of his real personality was left on the cutting room floor. “I was really disappointed that they didn’t show more of my lighter side,” he said. “I’m a funny guy and I had some great moments on the show, but they just didn’t make it to air.”

Despite his disagreements with the show’s editing, Hatch does say that he has been impressed by some of the other contestants who have appeared on the show. “I think Boston Rob is a genius,” he said. “The way he plays the game is just incredible. He’s got a great social game and he’s able to make big moves without getting a lot of blood on his hands.”

Hatch also praised fellow contestant Sandra Diaz-Twine, who won the title of ‘Sole Survivor’ twice. “Sandra is just a superhero,” he said. “She’s able to fly under the radar and just make it to the end without anyone really noticing her. She’s just a great player.”

Now, Hatch is focused on his new show, ‘House of Villains’, which brings together some of the biggest villains from reality TV history. “It’s been a blast working on this show,” he said. “I get to hang out with some of my favorite reality TV personalities and just cause chaos and drama. It’s just a lot of fun.”
