Saturday, Oct. 26 is shaping up to be a day to remember for the students and faculty of USD 428. With a trio of exciting events on the calendar, there's no shortage of talent, competition, and community spirit to get involved in.
First up, the GBHS Debate team heads to Dodge City for a showdown against their regional rivals. These students have been working tirelessly to hone their skills and prepare for this moment, and they're ready to take on the best of the best. Will they emerge victorious? Only time will tell, but one thing's for sure: they'll be giving it their all.
Meanwhile, over at Kansas Wesleyan University, the GBHS Orchestra is set to take part in the prestigious KWU Honor Orchestra Day. This is a huge opportunity for these talented young musicians to learn from the best, network with their peers, and showcase their skills on the big stage. We can't wait to see how they shine.
Last but not least, many students will be rising to the challenge of the ACT Test. This crucial milestone can be a source of stress for many, but with dedication and hard work, we have no doubt that our students will do themselves proud. We're sending them all the best wishes for a successful day.
So there you have it - just another day in the life of USD 428, where learning, growth, and achievement are the order of the day. We're proud of all our students and can't wait to see what the future holds for them.
