Siddhant Chaturvedi Reveals the Shocking Truth Behind Don 3 Casting Snub

Siddhant Chaturvedi has indeed come a long way since his impressive debut in the critically acclaimed film, Gully Boy. His powerful performance earned him widespread recognition and the masses were eagerly waiting to see more of him on the big screen. However, it seems like the wait for his upcoming film Yudhra has been a long-drawn one. In an exclusive conversation, Siddhant opens up about the reason for the delay in Yudhra's release and reveals an interesting fact that is bound to leave fans aghast.

Recalling the time when he signed Yudhra, Siddhant revealed that the film was supposed to release shortly after he wrapped up the shoots for Gully Boy. "I signed Yudhra after Gully Boy. I remember, we were all set to release Yudhra, but you see, a few things happened in between, like the pandemic and the lockdown. So, a lot of releases got delayed and eventually, ours also did," he explained.

Without beating around the bush, Siddhant candidly spoke about his desire to be a part of the Don franchise, a fact that many are not aware of. He went on to reveal that he had indeed asked for a part in the highly-anticipated film Don 3. Recounting the conversation, he shared an extract from his chat with the film's producer, Ritesh Sidhwani. "I had asked Ritesh (Sidhwani) for Don 3, but he told me that it's not ready yet. He said they are still working on the script," Siddhant revealed.

While Siddhant's revelation might have raised the excitement among the audience, what's important to note is the fact that the production team of Don 3 is indeed on the lookout for fresh faces. The yet-to-be-announced project has been in the news for quite some time now, and although there's no official confirmation, talks are rife about the new additions to the star cast. With rumoured names of popular Bollywood actors doing the rounds, only time will tell who will ultimately bag the coveted roles in the most-awaited Don 3.
