St John's Destroys Seton Hall in Jaw Dropping Upset

RJ Luis Jr. tallied 24 points and eight rebounds, Zuby Ejiofor had 15 points and nine boards and visiting St. John's ran roughshod over Seton Hall 79-51 on Saturday night in Newark, N.J.

St. John's (16-3, 7-1 Big East) improved to 16-3 overall and 7-1 in the Big East with the dominating victory.

The Red Storm shot 54.5 percent from the field and limited the Pirates to just 32.1 percent shooting, including a dismal 22.7 percent from 3-point range.

RJ Luis Jr. led all scorers with his 24 points and also pulled down eight rebounds, while Zuby Ejiofor chipped in with 15 points and nine boards for the Red Storm.

Seton Hall, on the other hand, struggled to find any consistency on offense, with no player scoring more than 12 points in the contest.

The Pirates also turned the ball over 15 times, which led to 18 points for St. John's.

St. John's will look to continue their winning ways in their next outing, while Seton Hall will aim to bounce back from the disappointing loss.
