The Missisquoi Valley Union Thunderbirds girls’ varsity hockey team faced a tough opponent on Saturday, Dec. 28, as they took to the ice against Spaulding. Despite their best efforts, the Thunderbirds fell to Spaulding with a final score of 9-3.
The T-birds saw some notable performances from their players, with Rory Schriendorder scoring two unassisted goals, showcasing her skill and determination on the ice. Abbey Wilcox also made her mark, scoring one goal with the help of Lillianna Fournier, who provided the assist.
