On Sunday, the Detroit Lions took to the field, facing off against their longtime rivals, the Green Bay Packers. With tensions running high in the early stages of the game, Detroit wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown stepped up to make his mark.
After hauling in a touchdown pass, the young receiver decided to have a little fun with his celebration. St. Brown could be seen reenacting a viral touchdown celebration originally made famous by high school player Jalen Walthall.
Walthall first gained widespread attention when a video of him performing the celebration made its way to social media. Since then, the celebration has been recreated by a handful of other players around the league, but none as high-profile as St. Brown.
None, that is, until the third quarter of the Packers-Lions matchup. That's when Amon-Ra St. Brown decided to unleash the now-iconic dance - complete with a celebratory fake basketball shot.
Fortunately, for fans watching at home, Fox was able to get a reaction shot of former NFL quarterback Tom Brady in the broadcasting booth. Brady, taken aback by the bold move, couldn't help but let loose a laugh as he watched the Detroit receiver's antics.
