UConn Unleashes Fury on Providence After Stunning Loss

Azzi Fudd scored all of her 17 points in the third quarter on Sunday as No. 5 UConn cruised to a 77-40 road win over Providence.

Paige Bueckers tallied 20 points and Ashlynn Shade chipped in 12 for the Huskies, who were looking to bounce back from a tough loss in their previous game.

The Huskies came out strong, with a solid defensive performance in the first half, holding Providence to just 15 points at halftime.

But it was the third quarter where UConn really took over, with Fudd catching fire and scoring 17 points in the quarter to help the Huskies pull away.

Bueckers also had a strong game, with 20 points and several impressive plays, including a few highlight-reel passes to her teammates.

Shade also chipped in with 12 points, including a few big shots in the second half to help the Huskies maintain their lead.

Providence struggled to keep up with the high-powered UConn offense, and were unable to mount a serious comeback in the second half.

The win was a much-needed rebound for the Huskies, who were looking to get back on track after a tough loss in their previous game.

With the victory, UConn improves to 15-2 on the season, and will look to continue their winning ways in their next game.

The Huskies have a tough schedule ahead of them, but with players like Fudd, Bueckers, and Shade leading the way, they are confident that they can make a deep run in the postseason.

For now, though, they are just focused on taking it one game at a time, and continuing to improve with each passing day.
