“Gratitude is a powerful tool for transforming our lives,” Marijke says. “When we focus on what we are grateful for, we start to see the world in a more positive light, and we can begin to let go of negativity and stress.”
In addition to offering practical tips and advice, Marijke’s book is also deeply personal. She shares stories from her own life, including her struggles with anxiety and depression, and how she has used mindfulness and gratitude to transform her own life.
“I want readers to know that they are not alone,” Marijke says. “We all struggle with difficult emotions and challenging situations, but with the right tools and perspective, we can start to heal and move forward.”
For Marijke, the key to a more delightful life is not about achieving some kind of perfection or avoiding challenges altogether. Rather, it’s about embracing the present moment, with all its beauty and imperfection.
“Life is messy and unpredictable,” Marijke says. “But it’s also incredibly beautiful. When we learn to appreciate the beauty of the present moment, we can start to live more fully and more delightfully.”
