OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - A devastating string of tornadoes ripped through Oklahoma on Sunday, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake. In the aftermath of the severe weather, Governor Kevin Stitt is urging residents to report any damage they may have incurred.
"This storm has had a significant impact on our state, and we want to make sure we can provide support and resources to those affected," said Governor Stitt.
The governor's office has launched a website to allow residents to report storm damage. The Online Damage Reporting website provides a user-friendly platform for residents to submit their damage reports and provide critical information to state officials.
"We encourage everyone who has experienced damage to take a few minutes to report it to us," said Governor Stitt. "This information will help us better understand the full extent of the damage and enable us to provide the necessary aid and support to our communities."
The tornado outbreak on Sunday was one of the most severe in recent memory, with multiple twisters touching down across the state. Emergency responders and rescue teams were quickly dispatched to the affected areas, and continues to assess the damage and provide assistance to those in need.
Residents can report their damage online by visiting the Online Damage Reporting website. The website is available 24/7, and reports can be submitted at any time.
