Kicking off the weekend on February 27th is the Art Beat Poetry Hour taking place at the OZCAT Radio Station located at 1026 Georgia St in Vallejo from 10:30 a.m to 12 p.m This event is perfect for those who appreciate the spoken word and are looking to express themselves through poetry or simply enjoy the works of others
Later that day the highly anticipated grand opening of the Moon Azteca Dance and Art School will take place at the Mira Theatre Guild situated at 51 Daniels Ave in Vallejo The grand opening celebration will run from 4-8 p.m and is expected to showcase the schools offerings in dance and art
On February 28th residents can head over to the Ferry Taproom at 289 Mare Island Way in Vallejo for a fun-filled evening of Palm Tree Paint Night starting at 5 p.m This activity allows participants to unleash their inner artist and take home their creations at the end of the night
On the same day the Vallejo John F Kennedy Library at 505 Santa Clara St in Vallejo will host the Vallejo Baby Resource Fair from 9 a.m to 12 p.m This fair aims to provide new and expecting parents with valuable resources and information to help them navigate parenthood
As the weekend draws to a close March 1st marks the beginning of a new month and with it the Vacaville Farmers Market The market will take place at Andrews Park located at 614 E Monte Vista Ave in Vacaville from 9 a.m to 1 p.m Here residents can find fresh produce local artisanal goods and a variety of other vendors selling unique items
