Chong Wei, who is no stranger to success himself, having won three Olympic silver medals and being the world No. 1 for 348 weeks, could relate to the struggles and triumphs of the budding stars. He revealed that he sees a lot of himself in Aaron Tai and Kang Khai Xin.
'I used to be like them, always striving for perfection, always hungry for success,' he reminisced. 'When I see them on the court, I see my younger self. They have the same fire in their bellies, the same determination to make a mark in the world of badminton.'
